Are you sure the paint is dry?

Strawberry Crescent : oil on paper : 12x9"    SOLD

The paint on this wee still life study barely had time to dry before it was whisked away to a new home last Sunday. Would that the day had been slightly drier also!

A big "Thank you" to all who braved the elements- not so much the glorious fall sunshine as promised, but more the persistently moist mists of autumn. I think all my upcoming shows are indoors from now on!

Morristown Art Walk : Sunday 12-5pm

Ginger Gold : oil : 12x9"

With over 70 artists this year there should be be able to find a little something to warm up your home this fall, and with only 13 venues you can easily see the whole show! I shall be at Kathryn Joseph Salon, 168 South Street (@corner of Elm), along with Mike Dziomba and Chris Siasat.

Venues are mostly along Elm and South Street, you can stroll along the avenue, taking in the art along with the great bakeries, restaurants and boutiques on the way. First Fall Art Show this Sunday, Livingston NJ

As it was cold enough this morning for my heating to kick in, it seems the sun has finally set on summer. Sunglasses, scarf, gloves and coat required to walk the dog means it is most definitely fall.

And the Fall Art Shows are beginning this Sunday at the Livingston Oval in NJ. The show will co-inside with a town-wide picnic in celebration of Livingston's Bicentennial, so it should be a fun day.

Oh dear... there appear to be 5 shows looming in my calendar in the next month - must get cracking!

Time to put away my strappy sandals and pull on some work boots

For Small Works 2013, Trestle presents the work of 33 artists from the United States and abroad. In keeping with Trestle Gallery's past Small Works exhibitions, all of the work on display is 12 x 12 x 12 inches or smaller. This limited scale allows visitors to have an intimate experience with the art before them and showcases how relatively small pieces can make a strong visual impact. Despite the unifying scale of each piece, the artwork is extremely varied across media and subject matter.

Participating Artists
